DescriptionA rectangular postcard with an image of a garden. In the center of the image is a wide grey brick path that branches out to both sides with low hedges along the paths. In the background buildings are visible through the surronding trees. there is also a building on on side of the image. In the top left corner is black text which says "GROUND AROUND TOWN HALL, ARLINGTON, MASS." On the back is printed "Post / Card" in large font on the top right. In the top left is printed "THIS SPACE FOR WRITING MESSAGES" with "THIS SPACE FOR ADDRESS ONLY" at the center right. On the left side of the back is a handwritten message which says: "Sept 3rd 1929 / Arlington, Mass / Dear Friend / We arrived at Bertha's / 6 oclock this evening and / find everybody well we / had a lovely trip all the / way and fine weather all / the crops in Maine looks / great especially the Potatoes / everybody here is asking for / you folks. Regards Joe". On the right side is the recipient's address which says: "Mr J.H. MacDonald / New Dominion / P. E. Island / Canada". In the top right corner is a red US stamp.
