DescriptionAn unused postcard with a colour image of many men in uniforms standing in an open, outdoor space. About half the men are wearing red coats while the rest are wearing dark coats. There are two building in the back ground. At the bottom is printed "Prisoners Captured At The Battle of Bennington, August 16, 1777". In the top left corner of the reverse is a short informative paragraph. In the bottom left corner is printed "Koppel Color Cards. / Hawthorne, N. J." At the bottom center is printed "39754" with "Pub. by Forward's Color Productions, Inc., Manchester, Vermont 055254" in a column at the center. At the top left center is printed "Post Card / Address" with a rectangle present in the top right corner with "Place / Stamp / Here" at the center. Collections
