DescriptionAn unused postcard with a colour photograph of the exterior of a two story building. The outside of the building is blue-green with a door positioned in the center of the ground floor. A large sign is positioned above the door on the recessed second story. The sign says "Sun Deck Motel" in white lettering against red and features a large yellow circle with eyes and a mouth. A second sign is positioned on the pavement in front of the door reads: "Children / Free / In / Family Units / Kitchens". The side of the building extends behind towards open water and has a set of stairs leading to a second floor balcony. The reverse of the postcard features "Sun Deck Motel / 'Directly On The Ocean" followed by a short, informative paragraph at the top left. A column of text is present at the center of the postcard with "Pub. by Dexter Photo Service, 654-647 N. Ridgewood Ave., Daytona Beach, Fla." At the center right is printed "Post Card" with a rectangle in the top right corner, outlined in dots with "Place / Stamp / Here" at the center. Collections
