DescriptionRectangular postcard with a colour image of Queen Square Gardens on front featuring a soldier statue on a pedestal in the middle of the image. There is red text in the top left corner of the image which reads "Queen Square Gardens, Charlottetown, P.E.I.". On the back of the postcard is a green one cent stamp with the profile of King Edward VII with a handwritten message to the left of center. The message reads: "Aug 27 191? / Dear cousin Janie - Mother received / her purse and was / delighted with it. She will write to you in / a day or two with love / to all I remain? your loving pres?nt, Winnie Buris"/ To the right of center is written the recipient's address which reads: "Miss Jannie Murray / St. Eleanor's / PE Island".
