DescriptionRectangular toy crib with an arch hood over the head. The crib is woven in a one-over-one checker pattern. The warp splints (1.8 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.2 cm). On the lower part of the crib is a row of diamond jikiji’j and on the top of the hood is two rows of diamond jikiji’j that are positioned between two rows warp splints. The rim of the lower portion of the crib is double wrapped wood splints except for the portion under the hood which is single wrapped. The rim of the hood is partially bound by folding the warp splints around and weaving them back into the hood. The center of the rim of the hood is double wrapped sweetgrass. Collections
