DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared to form a larger circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.1 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.2 cm). Around the top of the basket are two rows of wider warp splints (2.2 cm) which are joined by a row of diamond jikiji’j. There is also a row of the wider warp splints around the bottom which also has a row of jikiji’j. The rim of the basket is double wrapped wood splints. Collections
