DescriptionA sample of Thuidium delicatulum [Hedw.] Schimp. in B.S.G. moss plus Pleurozium schreberi [Brid.] Mitt., Hylocomium splendens [Hedw.] Schimp. in B.S.G., Ptilium crista-castrensis [Hedw.] De Notgreen. Sample is brown in colour with thin branches projecting from a dense, interwoven mass of leaves and roots. Branches are green-brown in colour with thin, feather-like leaves oriented opposite each other. Center mass has a variation of yellow-green, light-green, silver-brown colours. The reverse side is mainly shades of brown with a thin piece of grass/plant matter present on the top right edge. Sample is vaguely oval in shape.
