DescriptionA doll (.a) with wax face, blonde hair and original off-white clothing and shoes. A small white bonnet (.b) with thin blue stripes is present on the head. The head has short blonde hair in poor condition, attached to a fabric covered scalp. The fabric is held in place with small, circular metal nails. The face, chest and upper back are covered in peach coloured wax. The shoulders, torso, upper arms, legs and feet are a stuffed leather. The hands and forearms are porcelain. Beige string wraps around the torso and shoulders to keep the chest & head in place. The doll is wearing a dress (.c), petticoat (.d), bloomers (.e) and socks (.f-.g) on either foot with two flat brown shoes (.h-.i). The clothing all have a scalloped bottom edge with floral embroidery. Small silver nails are present on the back of each ankle to keep the brown shoes in place. Narrative
