DescriptionOff-white cloth bag with red and blue text. The bag is sewn closed on three sides. Narrative
This seed bag came from the farmhouse of the donor's maternal grandparents in Lower Freetown. Originally, the bags contained seeds but after the seeds were done, the bags were repurposed for other uses in both the house and the barn. The family's woollens would often be stored through the summer in one of these bags. The bag was sewn shut and a piece of paper was normally attached listing the contents.
