DescriptionRectangular (when closed) dark brown hardwood card table. The top folds open via hinge to become square that is covered in replacement green* felt. The pedestal is a tapered column with a carved petal motif encircling the bottom and a scalloped design spreading onto a triform base. There are brass caster feet set into the corner pieces that are decorated with carved layered rings topped with a flat carved flower. The table was manufactured by Seddon Sons as part of original Government House furnishings.

*Original felt was determined to be a light olive woven felt. As the supplier could not be located to match the original, the current dark green felt was chosen as replacement.
