DescriptionDecorative souvenir platter with an oval center with a ring on the bottom to raise the plate. The body flares upwards and outwards. The edge of the dish is scalloped, with c-curves at the indentations. At the ends, and at the midpoint of the sides, is an exaggerated protrusion. A raised beaded decoration follows the general contour of the edge.

The central image is etched and depicts the New Market building in Charlottetown. A red dirt road is visible in the foreground with people walking in front of the market topped with clouds in the sky. The central image is surrounded by an oval green ring with purple and white flowers.
