DescriptionA rectangular postcard with an embossed frame around an image a woman standing by a bridge looking over a snow covered meadow with a cottage and trees at sunset. There is a large bell in the corner made up of holly leaves and berries. At the bottom of the image is printed "Hearty / Xmas Wishes" in red. The reverse of the card has "This side may have a message written upon / it for Inland Postage, but the right hand side / must be reserved for address and stamp only." Along the bottom left edge is printed "B.B. LONDON & NEW YORK SERIES NO X261 PRINTED IN GERMANY". A vertical line is present a the center at the top right of which is printed "POST CARD / The Address to be written / on this side." On the left side is handwritten: "From (illegible)" with "Miss Ida Christopher / 90 Rockville P.K. / Roxbury".
