DescriptionA rectangular postcard with an image of Santa driving a sleigh with 2 reindeer visible over a snow-covered roof and brick chimney. In the back of Santa's sleigh is a large brown bag with holly and presents sticking out. At the bottom of the front is printed "May Christmas bring joy / and good cheer to you and yours". On the back of the card is printed "Post Card" with a logo for Gibson / Lines" in the top left corner, and a rectangle in the top right with "STAMP" printed within. At the center of the back is a vertical line with "THIS SIDE FOR THE MESSAGE" at the top left, and "THIS SIDE FOR THE ADDRESS" at the top right of the line. A handwritten message is present on the left side which says: "Dear (?) / Wishing you / all a Happy Xmas / we had a lovely / visit of Mr Fomont / we will miss him / in church tomorrow/ love from your niece Jessie an/and will/ and children". On the right side is handwritten is the recipient's address: "Mr. John MacDonald / New Dominion / P E Island / Canada". Collections
