DescriptionA rectangular postcard with an image of five baby chickens four of which are standing on a bowl of water and one is coming out of an egg. On the grass in the bottom left corner is a small green frog. In the top left corner is green text which says: "Easter Greeting". On the back is printed "Post Card" at the top center with a double vertical line at the center. A handwritten message is present on the left side which says: "Dear cousin Ruth / thought these little / chickens would be very / appropriate to carry my / message to you for a / very happy Easter. Don't / you remember the dear / little chickens you had / when I went to see you / trust you are feeling much / stronger now. Shall be glad / to hear from you. Lovingly Edith / Remember me to / your husband/ and Danny". On the right side is the recipient's address which says: "Mrs. John H. McDonald / Nine Mile Creek / Prince Edw. Is.". Collections
