DescriptionA rectangular postcard with an image of a grey bonnet with pink and green flowers. To the right of the bonnet is a poem in blue font which says: "Not an old gray bonnet / with blue ribbons on it. / But a new one just brought / from the store. / Wear it Easter Sunday / 'Twill, I know become thee / Tis the style thy / grandma wore." On the back of the card is a short handwritten message which says "Hello sweet heart how do / you like it wear it and/ think of your loving ?/ lots of love / to you all / Do phone". The address is written across the center to the right which says: "Mrs John H. McDonald / Nine Mile Creek / P.E.I./ Canada". At the top center is printed "POST CARD" with "COMMUNICATION" printed in the top left and "ADDRESS" printed in the top right. In the top right corner is a green postage stamp.
