DescriptionA rectangular postcard showing a lake with buildings on the far side. On the left side of the image is a bridge that joins to one of the buildings. Across the top of the image is red text which says "Squantur Club, Narragansett Bay, R. I.". On the back is printed "Post Card" at the top center with a logo for "Litho-Chrome" in the top left. A handwritten message is present on the left side which says: "Dear Ruth / you will be surprised to hear from me no doubt He and / you were not feeling very well/ hope and trust when this [reaches]/ you it will find you much improved/ as it is hard to be feeling miserable/ when you have a home to see to/ I know a little about -is as my/ head troubles me considerable at/ times. my boy is doing well/ almost- walking courtanee/ is going to school every day. I/ have seen may lately doing up/ things, made some mustard pickles/ wish I could send you a bottle./ did not see marys girl yet as/ I dont go around very much./ all the ? are well as ? as I know.
