DescriptionA rectangular postcard showing a military camp with two lines of men in kilts standing in front of tents. Along the bottom of the image is written "Changing Guard, Lower St. Martin's Plain C. E. F.". The back of the postcard has a handwritten message lengthwise across the entire reverse: "Dibgate No/10/16 / Dear George / Just a line to say I / am well and hope / you are the same / We are having a 60 / mile gale today so I / am staying in my / tent to hold it / from blowing / away. So far / I have been successful / but I cant hold on / much longer. The old / thing is rocking and I / am nearly sea sick." Collections
