DescriptionA postcard with a color image of a city including a rive and bridge on the left side. Along the top of the image is printed "Esplanade along Charles River, showing West Boston Bridge, Boston, Mass." The reverse of the postcard has a hand written message on the left side: "July 21, 1955 / Dear Mom, / Here I am / in Boston having a / swell time. Uncle / Joe & Aunt Alice are fine. / I stay with them / while Mary & Terry are / at work, but I sleep / at Terry's Got your letter / will write, soon, Love / Mary". On the right side is an address for: "Mrs. James Gillis, / Port Hill, / Prince Edward Island". The back of the postcard has a red 2 cent American postage stamp. Collections
