DescriptionA rectangular postcard with an image of a road beside a lake. On the road is a car and on the lake is an orange canoe with a single passenger. Across the top is black text which reads: "5: - A Glimpse of Newfound Lake, N. H., from the East Shore Road." with "34314" in the bottom right corner. The back of the card is divided at the center by a vertical line with "THIS SPACE FOR WRITING" at the top left and "POST / THIS SIDE IS FO" at the top right with the font partially obscured by the postage stamps. On the left side is a handwritten message which reads: "Jean & I and Kay Belon/ are at this lake for a wee/ it is quite cool, too cool to/ go in bathing to-day and yester/ day but we are having a good/ rest I dont believe I will/ be going home this year/ hope you are all well home/ remember me to all the/ ? Love Mary". On the right side is handwritten the address: "Mrs John H. MacDonald / New Dominion / Lot 65 / P. E. Island / Canada". Collections
