DescriptionA rectangular postcard with a design of evergreen tree trimmed with gold and set in orange pots on either side of a greeting which says "A Happy Birthday./ This is a day I can't forget. / May each return bring / joy and no regret." framed in orange. The reverse of the card is framed with a stamped outline of roses and vines. A handwritten message is present left half which reads: "Dear Sister, / We are all fine. / at present. / Trusting this will / find your all the / same. / I wish you a bright / and happy birthday / and many / of them. / Your Sister, / Sarah." On the right side is a handwritten address for the recipient which reads: "Mrs. Charles McFadyen / RR No 2. / Riverdale Lot 65 / P.E. Island." In the top right corner is a small green American postage stamp. Collections
