DescriptionA colored image of a large brick building that is sitting in a green space. In front of the building is three 1910-20's style cars. In the top right corner in red font is printed "Cornwallis Inn, Kentville. / N.S. Canada". The reverse of the postcard is divided at the center with a handwritten address to the right, "Miss Jean MacDonald / Montague / Prince Edward Island". On the left is written a message: "Dear Jean / Nice to be home, / but everything very quiet. / Have shaken hands with / so many people my hand is getting ?. Am in Sherbrooke / as I write, we motored down / to bay. Had an accident, my sister's / eye was cut, 7 stitches + 2 behind / left ear. Am all upset about it. / Leaving for Ottawa the 30th. / Arrive in Sackville at noon that / Fri. Let me know if you can meet / me. We get in O. at noon on Sat, which / is just right. Love, "Sherry." In the top right corner is a brown two cent stamp with the image of King George VI. To the left of the postage stamp is a black, circular stamp with "Sherbrook / PM / Jun 20 / 37" at the center.
