DescriptionA colored image of a large steam ship docked with billowing black smoke coming from the smoke stack with red font in the top left corner which says "S.S. Northumberland," Charlottetown, P.E.I." The reverse of the postcard is divided down the center with a vertical line with a handwritten address on the right for "No 3204261 / Pte George. W. Ling / B. Coy. 17th Reserve / South Camp 28 / Ripon / Yorks. England" and a message written on the left: "Dear Brother / I thought / I would send you a / card to let you know / we are all well, I guess / you will soon see this / boat. Hoping to see / you soon. I will / lose. Bye-Bye. / From Florrie." In the top right corner is a red two cent stamp with the image of King George V.
