DescriptionRectangular post card with a colour image of Fort Edward showing six cannons to the left of a small building with two people standing next to two of the cannons. There is red text in the top left corner of the image which reads "Fort Edward, Charlottetown, P.E.I.". On the back is a hand written address to the right which reads "No 3204261 / Pte George W. Ling / B. Coy 17th Reserve / Block 28. South Camp / Ripon / York. England", and message to the left which reads: "Dear Brother. We received two letters from you last Saturday and was glad to hear you were well. We are all well, and getting along fine. We have a foal now, it is a nice one. Will write you a letter soon." In the top right corner are two green one cent stamps featuring the profile of Edward VII.
