DescriptionRectangular basket. The inside and bottom of the basket are made of wide ash splint checker style weaving. The outer sides of the basket incorporate the standard diamond weave which adds decoration. The rim or edge of the basket is made of spruce root or ash and has diagonal rush binding securing the splint to the rim. A small reed covered ring is secured to one side of the basket with thread.Collections
