The great age of department stores in Canada has passed but at their height, the mail order catalogue services were a life saver. Anything could be ordered from clothing to whole houses! Christmas catalogues were a particular favourite, like this Eaton's catalogue. Hours were spent assembling Christmas lists for Santa.
Ordering and delivery services once again became very important as we followed important health guidelines to keep each other safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
