DescriptionIllustrated coloured caricature of Boyde Beck. The illustration is inspired by the movie, "Raiders of the Lost Ark". Boyde is depicted like Indiana Jones, running from two men and a dog. Boyde is holding a book in one hand and a coiled microphone cord in the other, reminiscent of Indiana Jones' whip. The image has many details and captions that relate to Boyde as an Island historian but are also a satirical commentary on Island history.
Narrative

Boyde was the long-time Curator of History with the PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation. Boyde was also known for his talent for storytelling, which he shared during the regular radio segments on Main Street. Boyde passed away in 2017.
