Description1864 twenty cent New Brunswick coin. The front of the coin has the image of Queen Victoria crowned with a laurel wreath. The back of the coin has leaves around the edge with a crown at the top and a ribbon at the bottom. Both side of the coin have text. Narrative
New Brunswick began minting its own coinage in 1843. 20 cent silver coins came into circulation from 1862 and they were minted until 1864, when New Brunswick's coining ended.
