Narrative
Henry "Chubby" MacNeill was an avid fisherman. When complications from diabetes led to the amputation of Chubby's right leg and left foot, he found a way to keep on fishing. His grandson, Jason, heard stories about his father and uncle lifting Chubby into the dory to go trout fishing, where he'd use his wheechair for balance. This was such a sight that years later while collecting stories about Souris, Jason was interviewing an old fisheries officer who made the connection between him and Chubby. This led to such a colourful description of watching his grandfather be lifted into the dory and settled into his wheelchair that it can't be reprinted here without exhausting all the @#$ in the word count.
