DescriptionBlack patent leather purse lined in red velvet. The top has four screw with the ends just inside. There is a leather piece attached to the purse which has a hole punched through it at the bottom that is used as a closure for the purse. On the front of the top is a crest. On the back of the bottom is a leather piece which attaches the top and bottom. On either side of the purse is a gold, leaf-like crests that has a brass rings with a brass clip attached to each. On the front of the purse is a the coat of arms for the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artilliary which has a crowed lion and a unicorn holding a shield that is divided into four sections. Two of the sections has three lions, one has a single lion and the fourth has a harp. The shield is circled by the phrase "Honoit Qui Malypense" which is top by a crown and a crowned lion. Below the shield is a floral motif with banners with several latin phrases, "Dieu Droit", "Et Mon", and "Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt" On the bottom of the purse is a brass screw-like attachment. The belt is red leather and is attached to the purse by a brass clip. A leather piece is attached to the belt and the clip. At the other end of the belt is a leather piece which can be folded back and attached to a clip. On the end of the belt is a decorative triangular end tip with a floral designs around the edge and in the center. The belt also has a rectangular metal loop and buckle that are decorated with a leaf-like engraving around the edges. There are also three rows of gold metallic-like thread that run the length of the belt with the center row having a wave like pattern.Collections
