DescriptionStraight edged thick leather belt made adjustable by a brass buckle at one end. There is an oblong loop at each end of belt with a circular ring attached at right angles to the oblongs that holds "S" hook closure that is embossed with a two headed snake. The sheath holder is looped over belt, the sides of the holder flare outwards near the center where the sleeve is attached. There is a slit in the sleeve for the brass clip on the bayonet sheath that is secured by a buckled strap at the top of the sleeve. Additionally the sleeve has two pockets. Leather bayonet frog with a loop at the top through which the belt passes. The frog has two compartments, one with keyhole shape opening for the clip of the bayonet scabbard and one for an entrenching tool. There is a narrow leather strap on the front that is closed by a small brass buckle
