DescriptionThe May (.1) and June (.2) 1895 editions of Munsey’s Magazine. .1 is missing the front cover and the first page features an advertisement for Pears’ Soap. .2 has a pink cover with “The June” in the upper left corner and “Munsey” at the top center with “1895” slightly below and to the right. Underneath is an image of a woman in 17th century style dress playing what looks like a theorbo lute with a palanquin in the background. Along the bottom edge is “Ten Cents / Frank A Munsey 149-151 Fifth Avenue New York”. The back cover of both editions is divided into four sections with various advertisements for products as well as along the top, bottom and sides of the page. The back of .1 is green and the back of .2 is pink. Both editions have two staples along the left edge of the first interior page. Collections
