DescriptionThe July 1897 edition of McClure’s Magazine volume 9 number 3. At the top center of the front cover is “McClure’s / Magazine / For July”. Underneath is an image of a shepherd standing between two trees with a flock of sheep in the background. Along the bottom edge is the publisher’s information. Along the spine is “McClure’s Magazine July 1897 Vol. IX. No. 3”. The back cover is divided into four sections with advertisements for “Walter Baker & Co.’s”, “Ivory Soap”, “Clinton Safety Pin” and “Royal Baking Powder”. The interior of the magazine has 80 pages all printed in black and white.
