DescriptionMetal candleholder that consists of a single piece of mental that is split and bent at different points. The candle holder has a point at one end and a loop at the other end. The loops is formed by the metal being folded back on itself and affixed to the side of the main shaft where the folded back metal ends there is a flattened piece of metal the is wrapped to form a circular candle holder. Extending from the main shaft beside the candle loop is a hook that drops below the main shaft. Narrative
This homemade lightweight candleholder was made for use in an outhouse. The loop at the end makes the holder easy to carry. Once inside the outhouse, either the spike or the hook could be used to hang the candle while the user was indisposed.
