DescriptionFemale RCAF Second World War military uniform. A: Hip length, long sleeved jacket, belted at the waist made of wool twill weave fabric. The jacket has two inset breast pockets with flaps and two patch pockets with flaps below the waist. The pockets are fastened with metal buttons. The Jacket is lined throughout with synthetic fabric. The front closes with 4 metal buttons. On each sleeve is sewn a black patch with a white bird embroidered on it, the birds wings are out stretched each sleeve also has a black patch with two "V"-shaped stripes in blue and white. On the right sleeve is a circular badge which is black with a white triskelion design of arms holding clubs and the letters PTI in the center. The jacket is blue, the buttons and buckles are gold and the badges are black and white. B: Knee length wool skirt with a side zipper. The waist band closes with a plastic button and metal hook and eye. The skirt is made of twill weave fabric and is blue with black buttons.
