DescriptionWool air force uniform jacket that is belted and has four pockets on the front plus one small slash pocket near the waist and three interior breast pockets. The jacket is lined with grey satin and the sleeves are lined with white ribbed satin. The jacket has four large brass buttons on the front as well as a brass buttons on each of the pocket. The belt is cloth with a brass buckle. The cuffs have a turquoise satin braid applied to each. There are flashes on the shoulders and an emblem applied to left front of the jacket above the pocket. The buttons are embossed with an eagle and crown motif. The emblem is white embroidered wings with a red and white crown that is applied to a black felt patch. Below the patch is a blue, white, black and orange ribbon.
Canadian military uniforms included a jacket. Throughout most of history different colors and designs differentiated between branches. Navy blue has typically been used for the Air Force.
