DescriptionDark brown hardwood framed Regency style sofa that is upholstered in light blue with a multi-coloured diamond pattern. The sofa has a curved crest rail with a elevated rectangular central section with rolled edge curving backwards. The front trim is plain except for a scroll and quarter fan motifs at the end of each arm. The front trim is interrupted by rectangular inserts at the top of the front legs. All four legs are turned with inverted tulip motifs and sit on casters. The sofa also has a removable seat cushion and two cylindrical bolsters. The sofa has been attributed to PEI furniture maker Mark Butcher.
