On the left is written "Dear Effie / i did not get / away this month / as Willis did no / get home. / i will go ? ? soon. i will let you / ? what ? leave i think Mrs. McBeth / is ? / yours ? ?". On the right is written an address for "Miss Matheson / 36 Prospect / Ave / Wollaston".
