DescriptionA rectangular postcard with a black and white image of a woman leaning against a fence looking out over a river with red text in the top center that says "Waiting". The back of the postcard is divided down the center with a handwritten address on the left side for "Miss Annie Merry / Montague / P.E.I / c/o A. C Macdonald Esq". On the left side is a handwritten message: "Have been to Freight / House five times / looking for that / hat. I guess its a bluff / you gave me about / sending it Miss H / did not have Weldoris(?) / they've ordered there three / times and are not going to / order and more. / Shall write soon / Ange(?)". In the top right corner is a one cent stamp with the profile of Edward VII with a circular, black stamp overlapping the top right corner. At the top center of the reverse is printed "Private Post Card / From Taylor's Book Store. Charlottetown, P.E.I."Collections
