DescriptionBasket with a square, plain plaited splint bottom. Alternate ribs are dyed brown. Weavers slightly wider than ribs are alternated with three narrow weavers. Central narrow weaver is dyed brown. Wide border below rim of undyed narrow weavers. Split branch rim at interior mouth is faced with thick splint. Both are secured with single binding. Lid: overlaid splints radiate from center. Ring of narrow weavers on top and weavers at circumference and shallow sides holds in place. Split branch rim secured with single wrapped border. Brown dyed ribs and weavers.Collections
