DescriptionAsh splint? hand woven creel with thin leather strap at top back. Rectangular plain woven top has split softwood rim. Top is hinged with two wires. Square hole at center top. Back is concave, front and sides are bulbous. Sides are plainly woven but the weavers are only half as wide as the splints. natural light brown color; strap is dark brown.
