DescriptionSquare base woven basket with slightly rounded sides that widen to a circular opening. The basket has a single circular handle. The basket shows a traditional checker-weave of a one-over-one-under pattern. The warp and weft are the same width (1.7 cm). The splints are unsanded and rough. The handle carved to form a circle with notches in the bottom to fit it to the basket where it is woven in with the weft stands. The rim is a wood splint that is single-bound. Collections
