Pink patent leather stitching encircles the shoe upper with a patent leather strap and brass buckle. The sole is burgundy rubber, decorated with pink musical notes and signature on heel. A clear transparent sticker on the base of the sole indicates materials of shoes. The shoe inner is natural coloured leather with a pink leather half-circle in the centre. The interior sole is stamped with size info, company logo, the 50th anniversary and Dr. Bonnie Henry's name and her COVID-19 reminder to "Be Kind, Be Calm & Be Safe".
Narrative
Inspired by B.C.'s Chief Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and knowing that Dr. Henry grew up in Charlottetown, the Museum & Heritage Foundation was contacted in 2021 and offered a pair of these shoes for the permanent artifact collection. The shoes were made under the brand, John Fluevog, and 100% of profits raised from the sales were donated in support of Food Banks BC.

Like all the other provincial Chief Health Officers, Dr. Henry rose to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic which took hold globally in March 2020. In that role, she became the public face for provincial health decisions and safety measures relating to COVID-19.
