Sanderson & Co occupied retail space in Newson's Block along Victoria Row. Throughout the 1890s to the 1910s, Sanderson & Co regularly advertised in The Charlottetown Guardian. Victoria Row has traditionally been an area of commercial business in Charlottetown.
