DescriptionBlack lanyard made of a braided material with a black plastic clasp at the back. At the end opposite the clasp the lanyard is doubled and held together with a piece of metal. Threaded through the loop of the lanyard is a metal ring which is attached to a piece of folded plastic that has a snap holding it closed and a metal grommet where the metal is threaded through. Attached to the folded plastic is a plastic sleeve with a piece of white paper inside. The paper has black text which says "PEI/ Cannabis/ I.-P.-E./ Nick Longaphy/ Montague/ Cannabis Clerk 2", and a stylized cannabis leaf.Narrative
On October 17, 2018, the Canadian Government legalized recreational cannabis use for adults. The first three cannabis stores in PEI opened on October 17, 2018, in Charlottetown, Summerside and Montague, followed by a fourth in O’Leary on January 25, 2019, and a fifth in Stratford on January 22, 2024.
