DescriptionLarge, three-part walnut display cabinet. The base has three sections with two drawers each. There is a burled panel applied to the centre front of each drawer as well as a carved wooden pull in centre. The top part of the cabinet has three, two-pane glass doors, with small brass handles. The doors have beveled upper corners. The centre section of the cabinet is wider than sides and protrudes slightly. In each section the base is wider than top resulting in a flat surface in front of the doors. The cabinet is decorated with applied decorative wood panels and molding overall with carved wood medallions (pomegranite ?) applied in centre of the burled uprights between the doors. There is also carved wood lions head medallions applied at the tops of the uprights. The crest rail has horizontal moulding in several bands and is more complex than the base. There is also horizontal burled panel above the doors between lions heads. Insides the cupboards there is notched strip at each corner for shelf height adjustment. Each section of the cupboard has four shelves, making twelve in all.Collections
