DescriptionA rectangular metal license plate. The plate has rounded edges with a raised lip around outer edge. The front background is primarily yellow enamel with embossed raised black numbers and letters. The text which reads "Garden Province TR 3-055 Prince Edward Island" is enclosed by a black border. At the top left corner is an enclosed square containing an embossed "71" in black indicating the first year of issue. At the top right corner, an empty box, edged in black. There are two curved rectangular holes along the top and bottom. The reverse of plate is enamelled in black.
