DescriptionA rectangular metal license plate. The plate has rounded edges with a raised lip around outer edge. The front background is primarily black enamel with embossed raised yellow numbers and letters. The text which reads "Garden Province TR 4-576 Prince Edward Island" is enclosed by a yellow border. At the top left corner is an enclosed square containing an embossed "72" in yellow indicating the first year of issue. At the top right corner, an empty box, edged in yellow. There are two curved rectangular holes along the top and bottom. The reverse of plate is enamelled in white.
