Narrative
In the mid-to-late 20th century, licensing cyclists in the capital city was the norm. These 22 green, white, blue, and orange bike licenses range in date from 1958 to 1971. The family who owned them lived on Nassau Street in Charlottetown, and many belonged to their oldest child and her second-hand bike. The license plates cost 50 cents, and each bike owner was required to get a new one every year.
