DescriptionFloor model television with a built in radio and phonograph enclosed in a compartment behind doors under the screen. The glass screen is almost rectangular with rounded corners. There are 2 knobs immediately beneath the screen. Beside the proper right knob is a lever which can be pointed at T, R or P. The proper right knob is divided into 12 sections with numbers 1 - 12 visible. On the reverse there are cones shaped picture tube protrudes
Narrative
Donors say first television on P.E.I. It was presented to Mr. Arthur P. Arsenault in 1953 as first prize in the Hudson Sales contest. When he first received the set television reception here in Charlottetown was practically nil.
