DescriptionSilver trophy (loving cup) fastened onto a wooden two tiered pedestal which is fastened to wooden base. Small silver plaques on pedestal list the names of the winners and the years they won, A plaque on the front of bottom pedestal says "The H.A. and Mrs. Campbell Challenge Trophy P.E.I. Rose Show". A note on underside of trophy tells winners to take " Rose Bowl" to Franks Jewellers for engraving. Winners are also asked to return trophy on the day of next year's show.Narrative
p. 27 of the Rose Story indicates " Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Campbell have presented a trophy for the best rose shown by a novice, the Campbells, expatriate Islanders living in California but summering on the Island were faithful supporters of the show
